I had a nightmare at Girasole on 11/22, and recommend avoiding it at all costs. My reservation was given away; my guests insulted by an unprofessional staff. I reserved for 3; 8PM. Girasole had four parties outside until 8:20 with their tables given away. The reservations were ignored. The waitress (no maitre) offered to squeeze 6s into 4-person-tables, 3s into 2, but it was impossible. There were open tables; we were told they were reserved. When I reminded that I *had* a reservation, she shrugged “no room.” “You’ve my reservation?” “*I* didn’t take them personally” “OK, here’s my name” “If you wanna wait fine, otherwise thanks for stopping by.” No apologies/excuses. My guests, insulted by her comments, asked for the manager. “I manage the floor, manager isn’t here, knock yourself out.” Our friends, in later that night, complained about laaaate service (surprise!) and poor dishes. Maybe we got away easily.
